Rustic Modern Kitchen & Living Room Transformation | Full Interior Renovation

This project involved a full-scale renovation of a dated kitchen and living room, reimagined with a stunning blend of rustic charm and modern elegance.

Before, the kitchen featured dark green cabinets, laminate countertops, and a small center island with limited seating. The adjoining living space, while cozy, was weighed down by older wood finishes, a dated fan fixture, and a heavy stone fireplace with minimal lighting and impact.

After, we transformed the entire space with soaring vaulted ceilings supported by exposed timber trusses, creating a warm yet airy atmosphere. The kitchen now boasts sleek black cabinetry, a custom wood slab island with live edges, ample bar seating, a high-end stainless appliance package, and handpicked pendant lighting for a dramatic finish. Subway tile backsplash and a handcrafted wood range hood complete the modern rustic aesthetic.

In the living room, we preserved the stone fireplace as a focal point while enhancing its impact with updated trim, fresh paint, and surrounding design elements. The layout is now more open and connected, perfect for entertaining or relaxing fireside.

Natural textures, upgraded lighting, and a neutral palette tie the rooms together, honoring the mountain lodge feel while modernizing the functionality and design.
