This project transformed an outdated front porch into a beautiful and functional screened entry porch, providing shade, bug protection, and a major curb appeal upgrade.
Before, the home featured a basic covered porch with dated railings, aging posts, and an exposed carport. The design lacked cohesion, and the space felt underutilized and visually disconnected from the home’s natural surroundings.
After, we constructed a custom screened-in porch beneath the existing roofline, using cedar-wrapped posts and a striking gable-end accent featuring natural wood shingles and decorative cross beams. A new wood-framed screen door, upgraded stairs, and detailed trim work created a seamless and elevated entry experience.
This inviting space now serves as both a practical outdoor extension and a charming mountain home feature—blending rustic style with improved comfort and usability.
